M. Benay Curtis-Bauer
Financial Consultant/Investment Advisor Representative
I earned an Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley. I was fortunate to study under professors who fused concepts from other disciplines into architecture. As a financial professional, I hold a similar interdisciplinary approach. I read broadly and get some of my best investment ideas from a variety of non-financial sources.
I began my career as a financial advisor over 25 years ago at Dean Witter which later became Morgan Stanley. I have maintained a pristine regulatory record over the entire length of my financial services career.
I specialize in tactics and strategies designed to secure market exposure while simultaneously emphasizing portfolio protection. I work primarily with professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs, and women.
Planning and a long range focus are critical elements in creating a successful architectural design. In my practice today, I use financial planning as a means to help clients focus on their long-term goals.
I currently serve on the Finance Advisory Committee for the City of Emeryville, California.
